3 Month ContractWe are looking for experienced Aluminium Boat Welders to join the production team on a temporary contract. You must have hands-on experience in MIG and TIG welding on aluminium boats, be deadline-driven, and strictly follow health, safety, and admin protocols. Key Responsibilities:Welding:
- Weld aluminium plates and extrusions using MIG and TIG techniques.
- Measure and cut aluminium to design specifications.
- Read and interpret welding/design drawings.
- Work according to production deadlines and schedules.
- Knowledge of 5083 Aluminium welding procedures.
Health & Safety:
- Follow all safety protocols and wear correct PPE.
- Report equipment or weld issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Ensure tools, chemicals, and equipment are safely packed away.
Administration:
- File and store drawings securely.
- Submit time and attendance records to management.
- Follow company HR policies and procedures.
Skills Required:
- Self-motivated and positive attitude.
- Systematic and technically minded.
- Team player with sober habits.
- Energetic and good problem-solving skills.
- Good communication (verbal and written).
Requirements:
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of MIG and TIG welding experience on aluminium boats.
- MIG / TIG Welding qualification or equivalent.
- Understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and HSE compliance.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to walk, climb, lift, push/pull heavy materials and equipment.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces.
- Physically adaptable to welding and marine production environments.
