We are looking for candidates who have completed their SAICA articles for a role as a Junior Verifications Analyst based in Centurion. Requirements:- Com Accounting, B. Com Accounting Honours, or Financial Degree/Diploma.
- SAICA Articles with an accounting firm (small or large)
- 2–4 years of work experience in the accounting/finance/costing field (SAICA articles)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Competency, potential, and interpersonal skills are the primary criteria. Proven ability to establish rapport and build strong relationships with a portfolio of clients, including senior executives.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are essential.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong presentation skills, particularly for kick-off and report-back meetings.
- Demonstrated verification/auditing expertise and knowledge of audit concepts.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines effectively.
- Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with diverse individuals and cultures.

Overview:
This role involves verifying the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) Status of small, medium, and large companies, including JSE-listed and multinational organizations
- Perform BBBEE verifications in accordance with the DTI’s BBBEE Codes of Good Practice, sector codes, and the company’s verification methodology.
- Conduct client kick-off meetings independently and foster client relationships.
- Interpret, verify, and effectively communicate all elements of the BBBEE scorecard, excluding complex ownership structures.
- Prepare comprehensive and high-quality verification files and finalize results.
- Present findings to client teams of up to 8 people.
- Address objections, manage challenging questions, and navigate conflict situations.
- Provide expert responses to client inquiries regarding B-BBEE verification and implementation issues.
