Our client, Darling Cellars , is looking for a skilled, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven Management Accountant to join their finance team, based in Darling, Western Cape.
This newly created role reports directly to the Managing Director and will work closely with the Financial Manager. The position plays a key part in operational reporting and supports business decision-making across the company. It is well suited to a proactive individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is eager to grow with the organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Compiling monthly management reports *Preparing quarterly forecasts (income statement and cash flow) *Assisting with the annual budgeting process *Analysing departmental profitability at various levels as required by management *Conducting cost calculations and margin analysis *Supporting stock control and production planning *Performing other finance-related tasks as required.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• A tertiary qualification in Accounting or related field;
• A relevant professional qualification, such as CIMA will be advantageous;
• Experience in the agricultural or wine industry will be beneficial;
• Above-average Excel proficiency;
• Experience in business intelligence platforms (QlikView) and industry-specific systems (EzyWine) will be advantageous;
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
