Our client is looking for a Business Relationship Manager to join their team in Paarl, Western Cape . This mid-senior level position is focused on managing and growing relationships with key agricultural customers across the Breede River Valley and Elgin regions. The successful candidate will play a vital role in driving agri-product sales, supporting customer needs, and contributing to the organisation’s growth strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to build strong business relationships with existing and new customers

  • Promote and sell the company’s product and service offerings

  • Initiate tailored agri solutions to help achieve sales targets within the designated region

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ongoing support

  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities, and report to management

  • Utilise internal and external data sources to support business-to-business engagement and growth

  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and relevant external regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics or a related field

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the agri-business industry, particularly in packaging materials

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Proven sales management and advanced negotiation skills

  • Sound judgement, achievement orientation, and ability to deal with complex scenarios
