Description:
We are looking for a FOOD TECHNOLOGIST/PASTRY DEVELOPER who is up for a challenge! We have recently opened a HUB in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town where we are busy setting up everything to produce our own pastries. The individual will be responsible for New Product Development and getting things going in the HUB.
Requirements:
Relevant Tertiary Qualification
Experience as a Chef/Baker (preparing both pastries and cooked meals essentials)
Driver’s License & Own Reliable Transport
Trustworthiness and Honesty
Food technology
Knowledge on operating machinery and maintaining it
Creativity
Background of working in a "HUB"/Factory
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Food preparation
Calculate costings
Recipe development
Following health and safety regulations
Training relevant staff
Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality
