Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong connections with contractors, architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders in the construction industry. Product Knowledge: must have good knowledge construction materials, equipment, and services they sell to effectively advise clients and address their needs. Sales Strategy Execution: Identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and following up to convert them into sales. Project Support: Collaborating with clients to provide tailored solutions for construction projects, including offering recommendations, technical guidance, or custom proposals. Market Analysis: Monitoring industry trends, competitor activity, and market demands to adapt their approach and stay ahead in the market. Negotiation: Preparing and presenting quotes, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. Post-Sale Service: Ensuring customer satisfaction by following up on orders, addressing concerns, and maintaining a positive long-term relationship. Team Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams, like logistics or technical support, to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
Requirements:
Civil Engineering qualification with good understanding of technical drawings Must be in possession of a valid unendorsed drivers license. Must have of own vehicle A sales/marketing qualification would be advantageous Experience having worked in the construction industry will be beneficial (Site Agent or similar) Preference will be given to Non-smokers preferred.
Remuneration:
Negotiable package around R25k plus fuel allowance and commission
