Good communication skills for team collaboration
As a CAD Draughter proficient in AutoCAD and Revit (Architectural & MEP), you will create 3D models and drawings for water and wastewater treatment infrastructure.
Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders, you will translate design concepts into technical plans and develop detailed 3D models.
Effective at managing multiple projects and deadlines
Strong maths skills
Passionate about the built environment, especially water/wastewater treatment
Eager to learn and grow in BIM and 3D modeling technologies
Skills & Experience:
Produce detailed CAD drawings using AutoCAD and Revit (Non-negotiable)
Create 3D BIM models of infrastructure
Model mechanical components (e.g. pipes, pumps)
Draft site layouts and P&ID diagrams
Develop CAD standards and workflows
Collaborate with engineers on design requirements
Ensure designs meet regulations and quality standards
Experienced with Civil 3D, Inventor, and other Autodesk tools
Strong eye for detail, accuracy, and design aesthetics
Qualification:
National Diploma or Draughting Certificate
Minimum 5 years experience Draughting
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
