We are seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our Junior School team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging environment where each child is supported in developing age-appropriate competencies, curiosity, and independence.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with the ISASA ECD curriculum.
- Foster holistic development—academic, social, emotional, and physical.
- Observe and assess student progress; compile detailed bi-annual reports.
- Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication and formal interviews.
- Maintain a safe, well-organised, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Contribute to the school's academic, cultural, and sporting life.
- Collaborate with colleagues and specialists to support individual learning needs.
- Participate in professional development and school-based initiatives.
- Support school events, fundraising, and community engagement efforts.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant teaching qualification.
- At least 2 years’ experience in preschool teaching.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, nurturing, and professional approach to teaching.
- Willingness to coach sports and participate in extra-curricular activities.
- Valid PDP license or willingness to obtain one.
