Diesel Mechanic

Description:

• • • • Responsible for repairing diesel engines and all the components that help to make the engines operate efficiently.
      • Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis inspections to determine cause of failure on components.
      • Execute various diagnostic tests and inspections to identify component and machine defects.
      • Correct vehicle (Defects) by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing impaired parts according to OEM and company procedure.
      • Troubleshoot, identify and repair hydraulic and mechanical defects/breakdowns.
      • Conduct primary maintenance according to OEM and company procedures.
      • Ensure oil samples are filled in correctly and submitted to planning department after service has been completed.
      • Ensure the continuous upkeep of preventive maintenance schedules.
      • Ensure strict adherence to PPE, and occupational safety policies and procedures of the company.
      • Collect work orders daily and complete job cards for every completed task.

      • Min 3 year’s working experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic.
      • Experience with TMM’s (ADT’s, EXC’s (Komatsu), FEL’s, Dozers, Mobile Crushers and Mobile Screens).
      • Good communication skills.
      • Clear criminal record.
      • Strong mechanical and technical skills.
      • Valid Driver’s License
