As the Financial Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
Lead, manage and develop the Accounts Payable and Cashbook Centre of Excellence team Drive process improvements and standardisation across multi-site and multi-currency operations Own and deliver the month-end close process, reporting packs, and balance sheet reconciliations Oversee accounts payable transactions, weekly payment runs, vendor reconciliations, and escalations Manage intercompany reconciliations and general ledger integrity Post payroll data, process journals, and support fixed asset management Deliver KPIs and finance efficiency insights to the wider Group Support annual audits, internal reviews, and statutory compliance Lead vendor/customer onboarding and credit approvals Partner with Regional Finance Teams to develop and deliver an efficient Centre of Excellence model Drive team recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree in Accounting or Finance
Professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar financial leadership role
Experience in multi-site, multi-currency environments
Strong background in accounts payable and cash allocations
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems
Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
Desirable:
Experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry
Knowledge of TMFF and SUN systems
Familiarity with US/UK sales tax rules
