Our client in Elsies Rivier, Cape Town is seeking a motivated and experienced Internal Sales Representative to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a Matric certificate, with 3–5 years of sales experience in the steel industry, along with solid product knowledge of Stainless Steel, Aluminium, and Pipes. This role requires a proactive individual with internal sales experience, the ability to meet sales targets, and advanced proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and Syspro. Strong numeracy skills, fluency in English and Afrikaans, and own transport are essential. The successful candidate must be trustworthy, dependable, and able to work from the Elsies Rivier location. REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric certificate (Grade 12)
• At least 3 years of product knowledge in Stainless Steel, Aluminium, and Pipes
• 3–5 years of Sales experience in the steel industry
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Internal Sales
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and Syspro
• Strong numeracy skills
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Must have own transport and ability to work in Elsies Rivier
• Must be trustworthy and dependable

DUTIES:

• Verify incoming sales enquiries
• Arrange credit applications for first-time buyers
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming enquiries
• Submit quotations to customers
• Receive and process customer orders
• Review orders against quotations to ensure accuracy
• Process all accepted orders promptly
• Resolve any discrepancies or variances
• Generate and process buyout orders
• Liaise with the Managing Director, General Manager, or Product Champion on technical issues
• Participate in regular stock takes

HOURS:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 – 17:00 / 07:30 – 16:30 alternate
• Friday: 07:30 – 15:00
