Grout Plant Coordinator
Minimum requirements
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Grade 11 or equivalent NQF level 4
- Trade Certificate / Technical Diploma / Project Management Certificate
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Good English written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Grout Plant Supervisor would be advantageous
- Experience compiling risk assessments and safe working procedures
- Experience conducting planned inspections
- Sound knowledge of Grout Plant operations, equipment, and methods
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Effective supervision of the underground and surface Grout Plant crews
- Effective planning, leading, organising, and controlling within the area of responsibility to achieve daily production, quality, and safety targets
- Cost containment through effective budget management and efficient target achievement
- Accurate and timely reporting
- Effective stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth workflows and target achievement
- Efficient achievement of production and quality targets in line with DMR and project scope
- Proactive risk identification and mitigation in alignment with legal regulations, standards, procedures, and policies
- Effective self and team management in alignment with values and leadership initiatives
- Self and team understand and comply with legal regulations and standards, procedures, policies, and safety protocols
- Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1 Group’s safety motto: “Nothing is so important that it cannot be done safely.”
