Description:
Business Analyst (Pinelands, Cape Town) Intelligent Debt Management (IDM Group) has an exciting vacancy available for a Business Analyst. The Business Analyst’s main role is to bridge the gap between business operations, processes, and technology. The BA will work closely with the relevant business stakeholders and various tech teams to translate problems and opportunities into viable solutions. The BA will form part of the Digital Technology team that consists of product owners, business analysts, UX designers, and developers.
What the BA will do:
- Engage with relevant business stakeholders, vendors and technology teams at all levels
- Gather in-depth information on a given problem or opportunity through research, interviews, facilitated sessions and data analysis
- Analyse the information using various frameworks and tools to clearly articulate the problem or value of the opportunity
- Gather and document the requirements to solve the problem
- Generate viable solutions and select the most appropriate solution that balances competing requirements
- Lead the solution design with the relevant stakeholders
- Hand over the requirements to the relevant teams to execute the solution
- Grow the knowledge base of the team and the organisation to improve what we do
An ideal candidate has:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- A bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years professional experience in business analysis
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- A good understanding of data analysis to drive insights
