Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Test Engineer to join our client's dynamic team.

Our client is a leading global player in the development and manufacture of advanced, lightweight composite components and assemblies for the aviation industry. This role will focus on ensuring the rigorous testing of seats and other interior components, adhering to stringent customer and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, with substantial experience in testing or related fields, and a proven ability to manage testing schedules effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Test Planning and Execution
    • Develop comprehensive test plans for the structural testing of aircraft seats and interior components, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, regulatory standards, and safety requirements.
    • Organize, coordinate, and execute static testing of seats and other interior components, ensuring testing is thorough, accurate, and meets all required criteria.
    • Ensure all tests are conducted in a rigorous and methodical manner, addressing both customer and regulatory authority requirements.
  • Test Schedule Management
    • Develop and manage a clear, effective testing schedule, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are efficiently allocated.
    • Proactively address potential scheduling conflicts or delays and take necessary actions to keep projects on track.
  • Material Expiration Testing
    • Conduct testing for the relifing of materials nearing expiration, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
    • Document test results for materials requiring relifing, providing clear, accurate reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintenance of Testing Equipment
    • Plan and coordinate regular maintenance schedules for testing equipment to ensure optimal functioning and compliance with operational standards.
    • Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to meet required standards.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and reliability of testing processes.
    • Contribute to the evolution of departmental methodologies and capabilities in alignment with industry best practices.
  • Compliance and Documentation
    • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all tests, including methodologies, results, and deviations from planned procedures.
    • Ensure strict compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements throughout the testing process.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration
    • Work closely with engineering, design, and quality teams to ensure all test requirements are clearly defined, understood, and met.

Requirements:
