Medical receptionist/administrator for a doctor’s practice in the Durban North

Requirements

3-5 years minimum experience in a medical practice

Matric certificate

Excellent communication skills including a professional telephone manner

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure

Fluent in English

Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays

Must be reliable and flexible

Must have own transport

No criminal records

Must have some medical knowledge

Must be honest, reliable, and vibrant with a passion for learning. You should be empathetic and have a pleasant disposition.

Should be meticulous, be able to work as a team member, and take instructions.

Should have basic computer knowledge.

Duties

Basic office admin

Answering phone

Sending out messages to patient

Making appointment

Sorting out filing

Benefit enquiry for medical aid

Stock take

Ordering and signing for packages
