TECHNICIAN - DIESEL TRADE TEST (GERMISTION)

Description:

The Technician is responsible for delivering top-quality customer service by conducting vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs to the highest standards of efficiency and excellence. This role upholds the brand’s reputation through expert workmanship and ensures customer satisfaction by caring for each vehicle as if it were their own. The Technician contributes significantly to the overall value retention of customers' vehicles. Educational Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Recognized Diesel and Electrical qualifications
- Certification in computer literacy
- Valid driver’s license
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a mechanical and electrical technician, ideally within a dealership setting in the commercial vehicle sector.
- Extensive knowledge of Cummins engines and advanced electronic systems
- Proficiency with electrical diagnostics and repair
- Strong understanding of air brakes, suspensions, diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel for assigned breakdowns
