Job Title: Senior Clerk

Location: Sunningdale, Cape Town

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full-Time | Office-Based

Salary : R18 000 – R25 000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities:

  • Compile and draft Annual Financial Statements using Draftworx
  • Perform Independent Reviews
  • Analyse Financial Statements for accuracy and compliance
  • Assist and guide Junior Clerks with queries and tasks
  • Attend meetings with current and potential clients
  • Reports to the Audit Manager and the Practice Partner

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience working in the accounting field
  • Tertiary Degree in Accounting or related field (Honours advantageous)
  • Experience in compiling Annual Financial Statements
  • Audit experience (Articles advantageous)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of Sage and Xero
  • Experience in Draftworx (advantageous)
