Description:
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our team in Stellenbosch (3 days in-office per week). You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous manual testing methodologies.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute manual test cases based on requirements
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing
- Document and track defects using bug-tracking systems
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
- Contribute to test planning and strategy discussions
- Maintain test documentation and reports
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of manual software testing experience
- Computer Science Diploma or equivalent qualification
- ISTQB Certification (Foundation Level or higher)
- Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies
- Experience with test case management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
- Understanding of API testing concepts (Postman, etc.)
