Requirements:A relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous. Minimum of 5 years' experience in retail FMCG sales, with a proven track record of working with national and regional buyers at a senior level. Experience in key account management, preferably within the retail channel group, with a strong understanding of its operations and business principles. Willingness and ability to travel as required. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong focus on proactive service delivery. Ability to work independently and manage both operational and administrative sales objectives with discipline and efficiency. Responsibilities:
Report directly to the National Channel Manager. Manage key accounts within the retail channel group. Build and maintain strategic relationships with national and regional buyers, as well as distribution centre stakeholders. Drive sales to meet company objectives, including volume and pricing targets across the full product range. Collaborate with regional teams, sales staff, and agents to ensure effective product distribution and merchandising, aimed at increasing forward share and achieving execution goals. Support sales forecasting, waste management, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of products. Compile and submit weekly and monthly reports, including data analysis and interpretation, to inform business decisions.
