Description:
Our client in the Stellenbosch/Klapmuts area is seeking a highly motivated Production Line Operator to assist in the packhouse. Minimum Requirements:- Matric / Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification advantageous
- Knowledge of fruit/agricultural industry advantageous
- Keen eye for detail
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Good computer skills
- Ability to work night shifts during peak season
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous packhouse experience is advantageous
- Own transport
- Identify and resolve issues quickly to avoid production downtime
- Plan, document and measure daily production output
- Lead and coordinate a packing team to ensure targets are met
- Manage the pack line, ensuring correct setup and adjustments
- Operate and monitor packing line equipment, including camera grading and sorting system
