Description:
Purpose:
The Project Manager is responsible for leading the team to deliver project(s). Manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to stage gate quality and guidelines throughout the full system development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery. Ensure development and implementation of PMO standards, policies and procedures. The Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost. The Project Manager has to ensure that the projects profitability is managed and achieved.
Project Management :

- Undertake to understand the client’s needs during the beginning of the project.

- Update and maintain the project schedule, highlighting deviations to ensure that project timelines are adhered to and allow for planning adjustments.
- Negotiate for changes with team members, and external parties if required.
- Manage project costs and budget to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget
- Review proposals and quotations to ensure that correct pricing i.e., accurate pricing is recommended for approval.
- Monitor and track assigned project progress daily and handle any issues that arise.
- Adherence and improvement to project related tools, processes and templates
- Use project management, scheduling and controls tools to monitor project plan(s), working hours, budget, plans and expenditure.
- Extract each deadline and work out timelines for timeous action by all stakeholders.
- Develop and ensure a forward plan of workflow, including a logical flow of non-negotiable steps.
- Collate and manage project information and reports to ensure that relevant stakeholders are adequately informed of project status.
Stakeholder Management :
- Attend to all off-site assessments and visits
- Manage client relationships effectively and ensure customer satisfaction
- Initiate performance feedback sessions with client and report on same to Zevoli
- Ensure that clients are continuously informed of the project status, time, and cost according to the project and communication plan
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all quality standards are identified and project outputs adhere to these standards. Review of all client deliverables and related documents for sign off
- Gathers input and analyses deviations to project process
- Designs, evaluates and implements quality process changes.
- Improving and implementing effective quality assurance policies and procedures.
Reporting :
- Promote consistency and clarity across all reporting materials including project reports.
- Set clear and well-communicated deadlines for report submission to stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of project information.
- Track and monitor report submission to guarantee adherence to established deadlines, emphasizing the importance of meeting reporting commitments.
- Streamline Reporting Process (Optional) by exploring and leveraging on project management software with automated reporting features. This can improve efficiency and reduce manual effort in report generation.

- 1 - 2 years of ESD experience

- B-BBEE legislation and regulations
- Computer proficiency and sound knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
