RESPONSIBILITIES

Regardless of their specialization, all financial planners have the same objective: to help their clients reach their financial goals. This guidance comes with enormous responsibility. Giving advice to clients is a privilege. They are trusting you with the intimate details of their finances and earning that trust requires passing rigorous exams and holding yourself to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Financial planners need both strong interpersonal and analytical skills. They must be able to analyse investment and financial data then clearly communicate their findings to their clients.

DUTIES

  • Meet with clients to discuss their financial needs
  • Recommend investments to clients
  • Financial planners spend their days meeting with prospective clients, implementing solutions with new clients and reviewing plans with existing clients.
  • Financial planners help their clients make more informed financial decisions. Those decisions can be anything from how to start investing to retirement or estate planning.

  • Customer Service: 1 to 2 years
  • Sales: 1 to 2 years
  • Must reside in the Western Cape
  • Matric certificate essential
  • Tertiary (university) education in (finance, entrepreneurship, law, commerce, marketing or similar)
  • Drivers license and own vehicle
  • Clear criminal and credit record
  • R10000.00 startup stipend ( NEW to industry financial planners only)
  • Medical aid
  • Corporate company benefits
  • 70% Uncapped commission
  • Professional development and accreditation
  • World class training
  • Must reside in the Western Cape
