Description:
The incumbent of this position will be responsible for growing and developing the business insurance portfolio by building a book of short- term insurance, etc. The individual will sell products by prospecting and canvassing for new business sales and focus on servicing current clients
Service and grow an existing client portfolio within
Source and secure new business through lead generation, cold calling, and networking
Build and maintain long-term client relationships with a focus on trust and consistent communication
Conduct needs analysis and provide suitable product recommendations
Deliver professional financial advice aligned with compliance and industry regulations
Provide technical support and guidance on financial products and services
Maintain accurate client records and ensure timely follow-ups and renewals
Meet and exceed sales targets and performance KPIs
Keep up to date with market trends, financial regulations, and product knowledge
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client service delivery
Requirements:
- Short Term Insurance: 3 to 4 years
- Lead Generation: 3 to 4 years
Matric / National Senior Certificate
Valid Code B driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
Minimum 3 years of face-to-face external sales experience
Proven experience in lead generation, cold calling, and relationship management
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Bilingual: Fluent in English and Afrikaans
If previously a FAIS Representative (non-negotiable)
FAIS credits or full insurance qualification (as per DOFA)
RE5 certification (as per DOFA)
