Description:

Purpose of the Role

Assist the Technician in performing planned services, repairs, and maintenance on HAKO machines and components in accordance with supplier standards and customer requirements.



Key Performance Areas
  • Ensure the most effective use of available time and equipment.
  • Assist with quickly and efficiently diagnosing HAKO machine systems and carry out repairs, services, and maintenance on HAKO machines/forklifts on customer sites or at BHBW site (Workshop repairs).
  • Ensure that all the warranty processes and conditions are adhered to.
  • Ensure all required information on each job card for each job is properly maintained and that failure analysis and reporting is of a professional standard.
  • Assist with demo shows for HAKO machines.
  • Assist with Completing the PDI process and sign off new HAKO machines.
  • Maintain a safe working environment (according to safety policy and procedures)
  • Achieve individual balanced scorecard and KPIs.
  • Effective self-management and performance ownership
  • Adherence to any reasonable instruction


Qualification, Experience and Competencies

Minimum Qualification

  • Grade 12 or N3 equivalent within the field

Minimum Experience

  • Experience on working of Cleaning Machines
  • 2 – 3 Years in the same position

Competencies

  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Machine specific technical knowledge and skills (HAKO)
  • Technical report writing
  • Applicable product knowledge
  • Customer orientation
  • Able to work under without supervision.
  • Willingness to work overtime and standby.
  • Ability to work on all types of forklifts.
  • Have a good selection of tools.
  • Teamwork
  • Computer literate and basic understanding of forklift software
