An established company based in Cape Town is looking for a dynamic, dedicated, and passionate External Sales Representative to become part of their growing team. This individual will play a key role in engaging with both existing and prospective clients, with a strong focus on the restaurant and hospitality sector. From lead generation to closing deals, the successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle. A proven track record in sales is essential, along with excellent networking and negotiation skills. The role requires a well-groomed, self-motivated professional who has a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 with Diploma / Certificate in Sales
Own reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
Proven sales experience with a successful track record
Previous exposure to the hospitality industry
Experience working with POS (Point of Sale) Systems (Essential)
Experience working within / with restaurants (Essential)
Strong networking and negotiation skills
Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Well-groomed and ambitious
Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the hospitality sector
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
Manage the sales process from lead generation through to closing deals, ensuring all customer needs are met
Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and product demonstrations
Develop and implement effective sales strategies
Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities and progress
