What You'll Be Doing:As our Trade Credit Controller, you'll be responsible for managing and optimizing our trade credit processes. Your key duties will include:
- Credit Management : Assess and manage credit risk by evaluating customer creditworthiness and determining appropriate credit limits.
- Accounts Receivable : Oversee the collections process, ensuring the timely receipt of payments and reducing outstanding debt.
- Credit Control Reporting : Prepare and maintain accurate credit reports to track outstanding balances, overdue accounts, and cash flow projections.
- Customer Liaison : Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to resolve any credit-related issues, negotiate payment terms, and address queries.
- Cash Flow Management : Monitor and forecast cash flow related to trade credit, ensuring the firm’s financial stability.
- Reconciliation : Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate records are maintained in line with internal policies and procedures.
- Financial Compliance : Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies relating to credit management.
- CMS Integration : Assist in the integration of Case Management Systems (CMS) to streamline credit control processes and improve overall efficiency.
What We’re Looking For :
- Qualifications : A relevant qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience : Proven experience in trade credit control, accounts receivable, or similar financial roles.
- Bonus Points : Familiarity with CMS (Case Management Systems) will be highly advantageous.
- Skills & Attributes :
