Calling out to all Financial Accountants! Half day Position! My client a market leader in the manufacturing industry is seeking an Accountant to be part of their dynamic team. This position is a half day role! The successful candidate will be required to have 5 years of experience as an accountant in a manufacturing industry performing full accounting functions and overseeing the debtors and creditors department and ensuring accurate recording of financial information and timely reporting.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation annual budgets and forecasting
- Reviewing monthly trial balance and preparing monthly management reports.
- Dividend tax returns
- Monthly calculations and reconciliations
- Invoicing to clients
- Preparation of quarterly financial reports
- Weekly cash flow preparation
- Liaise with business partners in respect of monthly management reports and cashflows
- Stock control, stock calculations, opening and closing of stock, WIP, BOM
- Perform monthly stock take with operations and utilize results in monthly reporting
Skills and Qualifications:
- CA(SA)
- 5 years of commercial exposure in a manufacturing environment /
- Syspro is essential !!
