Description:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s Degree in Health Sciences or equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Higher Education
- Familiarity with Policies and Procedures relating to Academic Development
- A PhD qualification would be an advantage.
DUTIES
- Contribute in the research, design, development and review of Teaching, Learning and Assessment policies in line with relevant legislation, national standards and international best practice.
- Implement the National and Institutional policies related to Teaching and Learning through academic staff development.
- Liaise with Executive Dean, Departmental Heads and other Faculty committees in determining the Learning, Teaching & Assessment (LTA) needs in the faculty.
- Provide leadership and support in LTA within the faculty.
- Provide support to students and initiate student success interventions.
- Foster and support innovative change in (LTA)
Salary Range: market related
