An industry-leading FMCG company is seeking a Costing Manager to oversee its product costing function and support strategic decision-making across manufacturing and commercial operations. This high-volume environment requires a commercially savvy finance professional who can work cross-functionally with production, supply chain, and finance teams.
As the Costing Manager , you will be responsible for standard costing, variance analysis, margin reporting, and cost optimization strategies. You will lead a team to ensure accurate BOMs, production costing, and pricing models, while ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial reporting standards. This is a pivotal role for someone passionate about driving operational efficiency through insightful costing analytics.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom Degree in Cost & Management Accounting or Financial Accounting (CIMA advantageous).
- Minimum 5 years’ costing experience in the FMCG or manufacturing sector .
- Proven experience in standard and activity-based costing methodologies .
- Strong ERP systems knowledge (SAP, Syspro, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and team management skills.
- Deadline-driven with strong attention to detail and process orientation.
