Description:
Summary:To manage and control all self-catering apartments to the standards laid down by the Company, maximising revenues, and profits to agreed budgetary limits.
DUTIES:
Front Desk
Ensure all bookings are prepared prior to check ins. Introduce and maintain the most efficient check-in/out procedures on Opera & WhatsApp. To ensure that reservations are taken correctly and courteously. Ensure guests are greeted, checked in to allocated rooms promptly and courteously via WhatsApp Ensure credit control procedures are strictly adhered to To ensure that accounts are balanced daily Manage the arrival and departures for the day Ensure that inspection is conducted prior to the arrivals of guests Communication
To ensure effective liaison between reservations and front office staff with other departments Ensure accurate and timeous submission of all reports and administrative work To attend all management meetings as required Guest Relations
Readily available at all times to deal with problems or complaints in person and on WhatsApp Tend to and arrange for guest needs To monitor trends within the industry and make suggestions how these could be implemented QUALIFICATION:
Grade 12 Hospitality qualification (advantageous) Opera (advantageous) EXPERIENCE:
