We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our client’s dynamic logistics company in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and driving financial efficiency within the organisation. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial management in the logistics sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local tax regulations.
• Manage financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Optimise financial processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth.
• Monitor cash flow, financial risks, and investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior management on financial planning and decision-making.
• Implement and maintain financial controls and policies.
• Lead financial system upgrades and automation initiatives.
Requirements:
• CA (SA) qualification is mandatory.
• Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles
• 3+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in logistics or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations, IFRS, and financial compliance.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
