Description:
As the Logistics Manager, you will take ownership of the logistics function, overseeing the execution of end-to-end logistics operations while actively contributing to the groups growth and scalability objectives.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a logistics roadmap aligned with the group's operational goals and long-term strategy. Lead and manage cross-functional logistics teams across multiple regions, promoting a high-performance and continuous improvement culture. Investigate and resolve delivery and supply chain inefficiencies using data-driven analysis to address root causes. Manage the implementation of new distribution centers, ensuring that they are fully operational, compliant, and efficient. Drive the selection, onboarding, and performance management of third-party logistics (3PL) providers to improve service levels and cost-effectiveness. Conduct logistics bench-marking to ensure that the group is aligned with industry best practices and emerging trends. Analyze and optimize logistics network design for cost savings, service level improvement, and scalability. Monitor and manage the performance of logistics partners through KPIs, SLAs, and structured reviews. Utilize logistics data and reporting tools to enhance decision-making related to delivery performance, inventory flow, and resource utilization. Collaborate closely with Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, and Operations to ensure seamless end-to-end supply chain integration.
Candidate Profile:
A minimum of 7 to 9 years experience in logistics management and supply chain planning, preferably in a multi-site or national business environment. Strong experience in both strategic logistics planning and hands-on operational management. Proven ability to manage complex logistics projects, including network expansion, system enhancements, and 3PL integration. Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills, particularly around logistics performance and cost management. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications (Non-Negotiable):
A completed Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
