Description:
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:Grade 12 with 2+ years relevant work experience in fleet control & tracking Experience with fleet-based IT systems Strong communication skills Valid drivers and own transport Fluency in both English and Afrikaans Good work ethic and of sober habits Willing to take annual leave during December construction shutdown period Resident in the Northern suburbs Must have strong personality and be good communicator Able to control 25 vehicles in 4 locations simultaneously The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
Fleet compliance manage condition of fleet; service programs; pre-start checklists Safety attend to breakdowns/ investigate incidents; monitor speeding issues Maintenance fleet efficiency; reduce down time; cost saving; problem solving; workshop flow Fleet tracking check delivery addresses; establish best route; monitor of off-loading times; monitor truck returns; checks vehicle whereabouts after hours General assist with site access; oversee no stops; truck diverting; despatch communication; updating representative as to fleet status
Salary: R12 000+ per month dependent on experience (provident after probation & 13th Cheque)
