Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing technical BI standards and strategies. Mentor and guide intermediate and junior BI developers and business users. Lead full BI project life cycles: from issue analysis and solution design to development, testing, and implementation. Design and build dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for stakeholders and executive leadership. Utilise the Microsoft BI stack (SSRS, SSAS, SQL, Power BI) and related tools (R, Python, MS Power Tools). Drive innovation with Power Platform, machine learning, and generative AI technologies. Conduct data quality assessments and ensure BI best practices. Support end-users and technical teams, including training and documentation. Stay up to date with BI tools, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Work on multiple assignments concurrently under tight deadlines.Minimum Requirements
Matric / Grade 12 (NQF equivalent) Bachelor of Science in Mathematics / Statistics or related field MS BI Certification & Data Analytics Certification Advanced SQL query writing skills Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents) Experience in data analysis, mining, and advanced Excel Strong communication and problem-solving skills Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic environmentAdvantageous Experience
