Collections Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced collections professional to join our team as a Collections Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections management, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of achieving collection goals. The Collections Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a team of collections agents, developing and implementing collection strategies, and driving results to meet and exceed collection targets.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of collections agents, providing guidance and support to ensure team performance goals are met
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to reduce delinquency rates and increase recovery rates
- Monitor team performance, providing feedback and coaching to individual agents as needed
- Analyze collection data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Work closely with internal departments, such as customer service and legal, to resolve customer issues and disputes
- Prepare and present reports on collection performance, including trends, forecasts, and recommendations for improvement
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of collections experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of collection practices, regulations, and procedures
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve results
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collections software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality service
