Description:
· Evaluate and analyze current production processing within all departments.
· Identify gaps and inefficiencies within the processes
· Design and implement systems and processes to improve resource optimization (people skills and improve usage of machinery and tools for accuracy and cost effectiveness)
· Do time studies and collect data within all departments in Production – document the findings and make recommendations to improve production output.
· Ensure that the production plan is managed accordingly and that it is adhered to.
· Be able to report on production figures daily / weekly / monthly.
· Discuss production updates as well as any faults / downtime to the Production Manager.
· Assist with any urgent jobs that may have to be done.
· Assist with health and safety protocols in the factory.
Requirements:
Skills / Qualifications
· Industrial Engineering qualifications - mandatory
· 2-3 years of working experience in the manufacturing industry.
· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
· Must be able to communicate effectively
· Must be able to work under pressure and must be good with time management.
· Must be able to work outside of normal working hours (including weekends).
· Must work as part of a team and be able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
· High proficiency in MS Office, with particular focus on Excel.
· Able to read drawing preferred
