ROLE OVERVIEW
The Compliance Manager ensures regulatory compliance across global distribution channels. This involves providing accurate trade compliance information on clinical trial projects, ensuring smooth customs clearance, and developing data-driven solutions to optimize compliance processes. The Compliance Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining relationships with global suppliers and manufacturers to ensure compliance standards are met.
The Compliance Manager will be responsible for the following:
Serve as a subject matter expert in global trade compliance for assigned regions
Assess and verify compliance capabilities to ensure alignment with compliance standards and business needs
Build and maintain relationships with global suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring compliance documentation is up to date and readily available
Evaluate compliance requirements ensuring import licenses and templates are in place before shipments go live
Support internal teams by providing optimized compliance and classification solutions to ensure smooth and timely customs clearance and excellent client service

SKILL SET AND DESIRED COMPETENCIES
Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Applications (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Excellent use of the English language, both written and verbal

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
University Undergraduate Degree of any background, commerce or science-focus preferable
Honours Degree advantageous
Work experience advantageous
