Required Academic Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree/B. Tech degree/Advanced Diploma in Strategic Marketing/Marketing/Communication

Required Experience

  • 3-year’s relevant working experience related to the duties and responsibilities.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Required Competencies

  • Experience using website content management tools.
  • High level writing and editing skills.
  • Experience using email communication platform, CMS and CRM are highly desirable.
  • Experience with search engine optimization-geared content writing.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong organizational skills coupled with ability to multitask in a fast paced working environment

R esponsibilities

  • Engage with, advice and support academic units in market research and formulation of the marketing and communication strategies for the online distance learning offerings.
  • Research and identify new target audience for prospective students and formulate appropriate strategies to reach the target audience across traditional and digital platforms.
  • Create and lead stakeholder engagement opportunities to increase internal and external brand awareness.
  • Develop, implement and monitor a media plan using the drip strategy.
  • Manage the design, creation, language editing and update of content for the ODL website, publications, programme information sheet and other student recruitment and promotional materials.
  • Conceptualize, design, create and monitor social media post and advertisements.
  • Monitor and respond to enquiries and comments on social media and web page.
  • Facilitate the creation or obtaining of images, graphics, audio scripts and copywriting for communications, advertisements and student recruitment.
  • Create and maintain a database of employers for the purpose of building partnerships for employee enrolment.
  • Conceptualize and develop marketing, communication and recruitment campaigns, and track and report on metrics measuring campaign effectiveness.
  • Serve on appropriate institutional marketing, communication and student recruitment forum as may be required.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned.
