Required Academic Qualification
- An undergraduate degree or diploma in Information systems, Computer science, Software engineering or related discipline
. Required Experience
- 2-5 years’ experience in industry or higher education environment in design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance and support of an enterprise business systems.
- A minimum 2 – 5 years of experience in business requirement analysis, system analysis and business processes analysis.
- At least 2 – 5 years’ experience in project management using agile frameworks and SDLC methodology for system development projects.
- A sound knowledge of data analytics, front end design principles for web applications (HTML, JAVAScript, PHP, CSS, etc.) and emerging educational technologies is required.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and project manage comprehensive business process review, analysis and automation for remote and online learning at the Departmental and University levels under the guidance of ICTS.
- Lead and project manage, under the guidance of ICTS, the design, development, testing, implementation, support and maintenance of the necessary IT architecture and systems for fully online distance education.
- Create, maintain and update systems documentation and standard operating procedures as may be required.
- Provide systems support encompassing problem diagnostics, development of solutions and implementation of solutions.
- Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of required applications and database for online distance education including payment system.
- Research, recommend and implement in collaboration with ICTS applicable upgrade to the IT system and infrastructure to ensure optimal backend support for online distance education.
- Evaluate, assess and recommend vendors, third party providers, software solutions, applications and processes as may be required.
- Render database administration support in collaboration with ICTS on online distance education including installation, tuning, monitoring and upgrading as may be required.
- Coordinate the integration and seamless transfer of data between the university IT network and those of university partners in line with contractual obligations and industry security standards.
- Provide support for existing technology tools and systems, including but not limited to the ERP, MS Office suite, Learning management system, Student management system, Proctoring and the web portal.
- Create online education data dashboards, graphs and visualisation.
- Prepare reports using business analytics reporting tools including student enrolment and fee payment.
- Undertake other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
