Required Academic Qualification
- A minimum of Masters in Education or related field.
Required Experience
- 3 years tertiary experience in a lecturing role.
- Experience of online higher education environments will be an advantage.
- Higher Education research and/or academic administration experience will be an advantage.

- Knowledge of learning theories and teaching and assessment strategies within online learning environment.
- High level of organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work as a team member and across organizational levels.
- Effective negotiation and conflict management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the programme and curriculum review and quality assurance.
- Ensure alignment within the programme and approve the module outcomes.
- Lead and manage the development of module maps, content and assessments,
- Ensure adherence to the online learning model (i.e. Carousel/Accelerated model).
- Project manage the accreditation process for new and ensure implementation of accredited programmes.
- Manage and coordinate the academic administration related to online programmes (admissions, RPL process as may be required, enrolments, scheduling of courses/modules, course development, course production, uploading of online course materials, quality review of uploaded modules on LMS and issuance of certificates in respect of assigned Programmes).
- Ensure proper, accurate and up to date record keeping in respect of assigned Programmes.
- Provide support to the course development team, course production team and the marketing team as may be required.
- Identify and lead the recruitment of Subject Matter Experts (Course author/ Quality Reviewer/ Facilitator/Teaching Assistants)
- Keep track and provide advice and inputs on the costing, budgeting and finances for assigned programmes.
- Research, recommend and implement policies, guidelines and procedures for module/course registration, enrolment and completion, including General Rules and Yearbooks.
- Monitor student progress and provide assistance to students as needed.
- Responds to queries from students and direct them to appropriate offices where necessary for solutions.
- Report writing and submission to the various Faculty and other divisions.
- Undertake other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
