Job Advertisement: Shop Manager (Permanent Position)
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Shop Manager to join our team on a permanent basis in the Somerset West area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a background in retail or construction to take full ownership of shop operations, stock control, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the shop, ensuring efficiency and excellent customer service.

Manage retail and consumable inventory, including stock levels, ordering, and merchandising.

Ensure the shop remains clean, well-organized, and customer-friendly at all times.

Supervise and lead shop staff, fostering a motivated and accountable team culture.

Monitor and drive sales performance while identifying areas for growth and improvement.

Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally and effectively.
Key Requirements:

Permanent Position | Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Location: Somerset West area.

Own transport is essential.

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Previous experience in stock control, customer service, and team supervision.

Experience in the construction or tool hire industry will be highly advantageous.

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet performance targets.
Compensation:

Commission-based salary with excellent earning potential linked to shop performance.
