Job Title: Receiving Manager
Location: Walmer Super Spar, Port Elizabeth
Job Summary: The Receiving Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate receipt of all stock deliveries, ensuring that products are stored correctly, returns are processed efficiently, and damages are controlled. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain inventory accuracy and support store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the receiving of all deliveries and ensure accuracy by verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders. Manage the proper storage of incoming stock, ensuring items are stored in designated areas and are easily accessible. Coordinate the return of damaged or unsellable goods to suppliers, following company procedures. Monitor and control stock damages, working to minimize losses and ensure compliance with store policies. Maintain accurate records of all received stock, returns, and damages, and prepare reports as required. Supervise and train receiving staff, ensuring compliance with safety and operational guidelines. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely stock availability.Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory role within a retail or supermarket environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
