Description:
Successful Accounting Firm providing Financial and Managerial Solutions to the Agricultural Sector requires a Chief Financial Officer who will manage 2 Staff Members. Responsibilities include :-
- Managing and overseeing the Bookkeeping and Financial Management of numerous Blue-chip Client’s
- Monthly Financial Reporting for all Clients
- Financial Recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer
- Examine General Ledgers to ensure that they are accurate and comply with laws and regulation
- Prepare, discuss, and submit to the CEO financial statements to ensure that they are accurate and comply with laws and regulations (5 th day of the previous month)
- Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure that taxes are paid correctly and on time
- Ensure account books and accounting systems are done efficiently and use accepted accounting procedures
- Prepare the Financial procedures to be used in the company
- Organize and be a hands-on part of the bookkeeping processes in Pastel for the clients in the Company
- Oversee / Manage junior financial officers
- Organize and maintain financial records
- Assess financial operations and make best-practices recommendations to management
- Suggest ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits
- Ensures that billing of Agreements with Clients on behalf of the clients and Firm, is done regularly, as per Agreements
- Manage the Cash flow of all clients
- Manage the preparation and capturing of payments due into the bank accounts of all clients (plus-minus 38 bank accounts and 7 investment accounts).
- Manage the registration and amendments of clients
- Manage the opening of bank accounts and the amendments of signatories appointed by the clients.
- Register SARS Responsible persons for the clients as per the regulations.
