Responsibilities:
- Lead safety audits, inspections, and investigations to ensure compliance.
- Promote a strong safety culture by compiling stats and driving awareness.
- Hold legal appointment under Minerals Act Regs 2.17.1 – 2.17.4.
- Ensure full MHSA compliance and maintain good standing with authorities.
- Report incidents, investigate accidents, and update safety procedures regularly.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Safety Management
- COMSOC 1 and 2
- A Valid Trade Certificate or Blasting Certificate
- 3 years relevant experience in a mining environment
