We are looking for a well experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Durbanville, Cape Town
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop and implement Regional Sales Plans to achieve Annual Sales Budget.
• Manage agreed Key Accounts and company representatives in the region.
• Manage and achieve sales quotas and goals.
• Analyse competitor activities and market trends.
• Overseeing and directing performance of the sales team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer
satisfaction and retention.
• Ensure operational effectiveness in all Backoffice Operations, Sales- Warehouse
staff.
• People Leadership through engaged Performance Management.
• Prepare and deliver sales reports and forecasts to management.
Requirements:
- Sales Experience: 5 to 6 years
- Managerial Experience: 3 to 4 years
- Matric and/or Business-related Degree is not a requirement but will be an
advantage. - Minimum 5 years of Sales Experience and 3 years in a Managerial role.
- Sales experience in the Packaging or Food industry will be an advantage.
- Analytical Skills and comfortable with maths.
- Sales Planning and stock level management with stock controllers.
- Knowledge on stock management will be an advantage.
- Negotiation skills.
- Profitability management.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Ability to work independently and as leader of a team. Must collaborate well with
people at all levels. - Influencing Skills.
- Strong problem-solving and creative skills.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and keep to deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Well-spoken and presentable.
- Driven, energetic, motivated, and able to work unsupervised.
- Computer proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
- Valid driver’s licence.
