Description:
· Conduct risk assessment for all jobs and ensure that all tasks are performed safely,
· Performing standby and breakdown related duties
· Maintaining and repairing conveyor belt systems, pumps, valves, Chain feeder, crushers, screens, feeders, thickener and hydraulic systems
· Ensuring adherence and compliance to Health, Safety, Environment and Community requirements
· Perform housekeeping activities in the work area
· Responsible for engineering technical and legal compliance,
· Keep equipment records of inspections, maintenance and repairs conducted on checklists and job cards,
· Ensuring that all sectional maintenance planning and spares requirements are met,
· Must be prepared to work shifts, overtime and standby duties.
Requirements:
· Recognized Fitter Trade Test Certificate
· Minimum of N2 with Maths and Science and relevant trade related subjects as per MQA guidelines,
· Valid K53 driver’s license with own transport,
· 4-years fitting experience in a coal processing plant
· Maintenance and repairs of equipment and installations,
· Must be able to speak, read and write in English,
· Be able to work in a team,
- Be able to cope effectively with pressure in a production environment, be innovative and self-starter
· Recognized Fitter Trade Test Certificate
· Minimum of N2 with Maths and Science and relevant trade related subjects as per MQA guidelines,
· Valid K53 driver’s license with own transport,
· 4-years fitting experience in a coal processing plant
