Description:
Technical Documentation & Support Create accurate manufacturing and assembly drawings, QC checklists, SOPs, and BOMs to bring engineering concepts into reality
Production & Design Innovation Support diverse production lines, champion new product development, and apply design improvements through an efficient ECR process
Advanced CAD Modelling & Optimization Design and enhance precise 2D/3D CAD models, conduct engineering calculations, and optimize tooling, jigs, component weight, cost, and assembly for maximum performance
Process & Quality Enhancement Research, evaluate, and integrate next-generation technologies to elevate design quality, streamline manufacturing, and reduce costs
Project Implementation & Change Management Collaborate on prototype assembly, manage design revisions, and ensure seamless integration across teams
Excellence in Execution Consistently deliver high-quality outputs, meet critical project deadlines, and uphold technical specifications with accuracy and professionalism
Skills & Experience:
Engineering/Design Experience 2-4 years in a manufacturing industry
Design for Manufacturing Strong understanding of manufacturing design and build sequences
CAD Software Proficiency Experience with SolidWorks (2015 onwards), basic knowledge of AutoCAD/Draftsight (2010 onwards), with speed/accuracy tests required
MS Office Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Qualification:
Mechanical Engineering degree (BEng or BTech)
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
