Description:
Ensure full compliance with statutory financial, accounting, and tax requirements
Lead and manage group and subsidiary tax affairs, including VAT submissions via SARS e-filing
Deliver accurate monthly consolidated financial reports
Oversee the finance and supply chain functions
Drive strategic financial planning and business development support
Provide in-depth analysis to support decision-making
Design and improve financial reporting systems and processes
Identify financial risks, trends, and opportunities for cash optimization
Lead the year-end audit process
Develop a financial stakeholder engagement strategy across all levels
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience, with at least 4 years in a similar role
Experience within the mining industry is highly advantageous
Strong knowledge of accounting systems and business planning
Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and regulations
Strategic and analytical mindset
Must hold a valid drivers license and be medically fit
Qualification:
Bachelors Degree in Finance (CA(SA) qualification preferred)
