My client is a no-nonsense chemical manufacturing company seeking a sharp, street-smart External Sales Rep who thrives on chasing and closing new deals.
What is your mission?
To open doors, close deals, and grow my clients' footprint in the mining industry : From DAY ONE
How will you do it?
Identify, approach, and close new business opportunities in the mining and other sectors Leverage your existing network to generate immediate traction Present and promote my clients range of industrial-strength cleaning products Negotiate pricing and service agreements with key decision-makers Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients Work closely with the production and logistics team to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction Track sales activities and provide regular reporting on pipeline, leads, and conversion rates Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitors
Who do you have?
Proven experience in sales to the mining industry (5+ years preferred) An existing network of decision-makers in mining and related sectors — this is non-negotiable Hunter mentality – aggressive, persistent, and always closing deals Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Own vehicle and valid driver’s license Self-starter with the ability to work independently and under pressure Strong admin and reporting discipline Comfortable travelling nationally - you should not be in the office
