Description:
Your responsibilities could include but are not limited to:
Manage the full accounting function, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting
Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with applicable standards and deadlines
Oversee reconciliations of accounts, including bank, creditors, and intercompany balances
Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Support internal and external audit processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and accounting systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide financial insights for decision-making
Skills & Experience:
Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles
5 years of financial accounting experience
Manufacturing or similar industry experience
SAGE experience highly beneficial
Systems implementation experience is highly beneficial
Qualification:
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
BCom Degree in Accountant
